Hi there, Ross again with Conquest Maps. So you bought a pin board map? I hope you are as excited to receive it as we are for you.
You may be wondering what to expect when it arrives. Your map will arrive in a box. Because our maps are pretty large, you may want to open it on a table or the floor. The first thing you’ll wanna do is cut the tape. First, cut the front open, then the sides, if it’s a smaller sized map. Then just open it like a pizza box. Inside, you’ll find your map!
Go ahead and lift your map out. You can remove it’s protective bag or just leave it on until you’re ready to hang it. It’s definitely safer in there.
Underneath, you’ll find everything you need to hang your map as well as some extras. First, a thank you card with some important information about your map. You’ll also find hanging instructions to install your map quickly and easily. Then you’ll find your push pins, hanging hardware and maybe some other goodies like stickers.
You can start pinning right away or wait until it’s on the wall. But what we know from experience as well as our customers telling us, the map almost never makes it onto the wall before it gets pinned. It’s too tempting! So have fun! There’s much to plan and reminisce about.
One thing to note is if you think your map has been damaged in transit which is rare but unfortunately does occasionally happen, please keep all packaging and get in touch with us right away. We’ll get it remedied as soon as possible because we know how frustrating that can be. Otherwise, all elements of the packaging are recyclable.
I hope this has been helpful. If you have any questions through the process, don’t be afraid to reach out. Thank you for your time and talk to you again soon!
